Kalambaka train station is 2.2 km from the house (5 min by taxi or 25 min walk). Direct trains run from Athens and Thessaloniki, with a scenic ride through the Thessaly plain.
Book a window seat, the last 30 minutes have great scenery.
By bus
KTEL Trikala buses reach Kalambaka daily from Athens and Thessaloniki. From Kalambaka KTEL station, ~5 minutes by taxi.
By car
From Athens: ~4h 30m via the E65 highway. From Thessaloniki: ~3h via A1 and A3. Free street parking near the house.
